    Do you remember when you were a little girl and you had a group of best friends with whom you shared everything near and dear? It didn't matter if it was as insignificant as admittting that you had tried your mother's lipstick -- it was just the idea that you had a friend who knew something about you that no one else did. 

    Well, as we get older we expand our circles to include many people who reflect part of who we are and what we've become.  Sometimes though, we lose a little of the intimacy that we had with a group of special girlfriends growing up. 

     And so, women travelling with other women, seemed like a natural way to recapture that feeling of being comfortable and safe in the company of women. There is no competition, no hidden agenda and no stress worrying about anyone except us. It's a chance to enjoy camaraderie with other women who nurture our souls and let us find ourselves again.

    And the best part is that we do it in a country that lets us explore, enjoy and revitalize.  That's why we've started our women's travel club with Italy called roadsisters.org.  You just know there's always another bit of renaissance (metaphorically and literally) around the next corner.
